Hi Nancy! I'm Lorraine Garner's sister in law and she's turned our book club on to your books. We're meeting tomorrow night to discuss Layer of Liesour first of your books. We are REALLY looking forward to your next book that includes Lorraine as a character! (Lots of fodder for a story there!)
We want you to know that we LOVE reading about places that we know here in good 'ol DM. We hope that next time you are in DM for a book signing you'll have dinner with our book club. How about it?

Ms. Steedle: I just wanted you to know that my book club's selection for the month of April is "Layer of Lies." We chose your book for a number of reasons. One being that it is set in a little section of our city, Beaverdale. Secondly, it revolves around something one of our members is intrigued by: cake decorating. We will send you our critique at the end of the month. Perhaps if you are ever in the Des Moines area, you would be able to take time out of your busy schedule to have dinner with our club!
